The New Motor

So I recently ordered a new motor for the bike.
I ordered myself a new Motenergy ME1507 (http://motenergy.com/mepmbrmo.html) which is to replace my mystery ME1117. For those of you that follow me, know that I was having trouble with the ME1117, and the Sin/Cosine Encoder. I am not going to give up on it. I will put it aside for a new project, and when i get it working then i will already have a motor for it!

Spec time!!!

Weight 21.4 Kg, Almost double the weight of my current motor 😦 (only down side really)

Peak power 48kW @ 600A | 29kW @ 350A with 100 VDC Battery Supply

Continous power 13 kW – Double what my Current Motor Can do

Peak current 600 Arms – Double what my Current Motor Can do

Continous current 157 Arms – 30amps more then the 1117. I know its only 30 amps but its every lille but that counts πŸ˜‰

Continous torque 32 Nm – This is roughly where my motor stalls at!

Max torque 120 Nm

Max speed 8000 Rpm, and extra 3000 RPM that i can use, though realistily it will only be about an extra 1500 that I will extra get, but i will take it!

Ingress protection IP65

Efficiency 92 % – YAY for an extra 2% πŸ˜‰
